Former "Galatasaray" goalkeeper Fernando Muslera has achieved another success with his new team, Argentina's "Estudiantes". Sport24.az reports that the experienced goalkeeper has added another title to his career by winning cups in two different tournaments in the past week.
"Estudiantes" faced "Platense" in the final of the Argentina Champions Cup. The match ended with a 2:1 victory for Muslera's team, and the cup was taken to the "Estudiantes" museum.
The course of the match was quite dramatic. "Estudiantes" fell behind in the 51st minute with a goal from Zapiola. The first half ended with this result. However, Lucas Alario came on the scene in the final minutes of the match. The striker equalized the score in the 79th minute and secured a great comeback and championship for his team with a goal in the 90th minute.
It should be noted that "Estudiantes" became champion a week earlier, on December 14, by defeating "Racing Club" in the final of the 2nd stage of the Argentine League.
