The appeal of Mukhtar Nazarli, a former football player of the "Mingachevir" club playing in the Azerbaijan I League, regarding the decision to ban him from football for life for participating in fixed matches, was not granted. Spot24..az reports that the decision was made at a meeting of the Appeals Arbitration Tribunal.
The decision of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee dated January 30, 2025, to impose a lifetime ban on the football player from any football-related activity for participating in fixed matches, was upheld.
