Michał Probierz has resigned as the coach of the Polish national team.
Idman.biz reports that after three consecutive victories, the Poles lost to Finland away on June 10 in the qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup (1:2).
Under the leadership of Probierz, who has been coaching the Polish national team since September 2023, the team performed unsuccessfully at EURO-2024 and the UEFA Nations League 2024/25, finishing last in the group.
A few days ago, Robert Lewandowski, a legend of Polish football, whom Probierz deprived of the captain's armband in the national team, announced that he would not play in the team under his leadership.
