Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa has denied a previous statement made by striker Kylian Mbappe.
Lent.az reports that Mbappe said the coach called him the team's fourth striker.
Arbeloa responded to the striker's claims as follows:
"I don't just have four strikers. I never said such a thing to Mbappe. Maybe he didn't understand me correctly. I'm the head coach and I decide who plays and who doesn't. A player who wasn't on the roster four days ago shouldn't be in the starting lineup today."
It should be noted that on May 5, there were reports that Mbappe had a conflict with a member of the team's coaching staff. According to the media, the incident occurred before the Real Betis-Real match (1:1) on April 24. Mbappe used angry and offensive language against an employee who called him "offside" in a training game.
In addition, it was also claimed that Mbappe demanded that the club's management sell Vinicius Junior. The footballer's mother, Fayza Lamari, also made a similar request to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
According to reports, Mbappe will leave the club if Vinicius stays in the team.
