Mammadov: We didn't want to lose, the second goal broke us

– There is not much to talk about. We prepared seriously for the match, we thought we would play well. Until the goal, the team did not give a bad impression. But the opponent made a difference due to a small mistake and the game was disrupted. The second goal episode had a great impact on us. We have three games left. We will fight to the end with whatever chance we have. We will try to get our team out of this situation.

– After the goal, the team performed very weakly. What is this related to?

– The first goal did not break us. It was the end of the first half and we didn't think they would score such an easy goal. After the second goal, a decline was felt, and this is normal. We didn't want to lose. After the opponent scored, the players felt discouraged and we knew that the comeback would be very difficult.

– Looking at the calendars, how do you assess your chances?

– Both "Gabala" and we have difficult games. The point difference is 6 and we have a match against "Gabala" ahead. We will prepare seriously for every meeting.

– In other countries, the games of teams playing to stay in the league at the end of the season are on the same day. But it's different with us…

– We will build our plan according to the calendar. We can't do anything anymore. We will try our best to prepare the team for the next game.
