A decision will be made regarding the future of goalkeeper Luka Chevalier at French football club PSG.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to "L'Équipe" that the Paris representative is considering selling the 24-year-old goalkeeper or sending him on loan to his former club, Lille. The French goalkeeper has not played for PSG since January and is undergoing recovery from an injury.
According to reports, Matvey Safonov defended the team's goal in 19 consecutive matches. He was later replaced by 19-year-old Renato Marin. A positive opinion has been formed about Marin in the Paris club, and depending on Chevalier's situation, the young goalkeeper may be given more chances.
Chevalier moved to PSG last summer. The Paris club paid 55 million euros (110 million AZN) for his transfer. However, the French goalkeeper was unable to establish himself in the main squad and lost the competition to Safonov.
It is noted that PSG may evaluate offers for Chevalier during the summer transfer window. The player himself may be positive about the separation option, as he does not want to remain in reserve. The goalkeeper's value on the Tranfermarkt portal is 30 million euros (60 million AZN).
