"Imishli" is happy not to have lost to "Zira" in the current season of the Azerbaijan Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that this was stated by the club's head coach, Jorge Kaskilya, at a press conference after the match against "Zira" in the 31st round of the championship.
No score was opened in the Imishli-Zira game.
"The match was played at a high pace and in a tense atmosphere. Both sides came to the field to win. In the first half, we showed a superior game and created more dangerous episodes than the opponent. After the break, the game became more balanced and difficult. In the last minutes, the initiative was mainly on Zira's side, so the team retreated more into defense. I think the draw was a result that corresponded to the overall flow of the game. It is gratifying that we did not lose to Zira this season. The most important thing is that "Imishli" achieves its goal. I especially congratulate my players, because they fought to the end in every game throughout the season. I wish Zira success in the final match of the national cup," Kaskilya added.
"Imishli" is in 9th place with 33 points after 31 games.
