"Kapaz" has clarified the future of Portuguese defender Diogo Verdasca at the club. According to Sport24.az, a new agreement has been reached with the 29-year-old footballer, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
The management considered it important to continue cooperation with the team's captain, as they were satisfied with his experience and leadership qualities.
Verdasca was also positive about staying at "Kapaz", and negotiations between the parties were successful.
Thus, the Portuguese defender will play for the "yellow-blues" next season as well.
It should be noted that Verdasca has played in 25 Premier League matches this season and scored 1 goal. He will also wear the "Kapaz" uniform in the 2024/2025 season.
