"I wanted to try myself in a Turkish club. That's why I chose 'Gaziantep'." These words were said by Joshguna Aliyeva, a football player of the Azerbaijani women's national team, who was transferred from "Neftchi" to the Turkish representative "Gaziantep", in her statement to Sport24.az.
The 23-year-old midfielder shared her thoughts on the transition to her new team:
"The team has a great chance of winning the League. I had no offers from other clubs. The Turkish club contacted me and I evaluated the offer positively. I have lived as a legionnaire in this country before. I will not have a problem adapting to the championship. That's why it wasn't so difficult to make a choice. I will try to help the new team achieve its goals. I also want to experience the joy of winning the championship with the team."
It should be noted that Joshguna Aliyeva, who last played for "Neftchi", also wore the uniforms of "Karadeniz Eregli Belediyespor" and "Keçiburnuspor" in the brotherly country during her career.
