"Atletico Mineiro" has announced the appointment of Jorge Sampaoli as head coach. Sport24.az reports that a contract has been signed with the Argentinian specialist until December 2027.
Sampaoli will visit the new club's camp this week. The team will play its next match on September 11 against Cruzeiro at home.
It should be noted that the former coach of the Argentine national team was the head coach of Atletico Mineiro in the 2020 season. With him, the team won the Minas Gerais state championship and also took third place in the Brazilian championship.
