"Inter Miami" has extended the contract of forward Luis Suarez.
Idman.Biz reports that the 38-year-old Uruguayan footballer's contract is until the end of the 2026 season.
"Suarez made history by signing a new contract after completing the 2025 season, his second season with the club. The striker's vast experience and leadership played a decisive role in Inter Miami's third and fourth titles - the Eastern Conference Championship and the MLS Cup", the club's official website said.
The forward moved to Inter Miami from Gremio in 2024 for 4 million euros. Last season, he participated in 32 MLS games for the North American club, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists. He also won the MLS Championship with the club.
Suarez is the top scorer in the history of the Uruguayan national team, winner of the Copa America, Spanish champion and Spanish Cup winner, Champions League winner with Barcelona, and champion of Uruguay and the Netherlands.
