Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane shared his thoughts on the 2-2 draw against Mainz in the 14th round of the Bundesliga.
Idman.Biz reports that the Munich forward stated that they dominated most of the match but lacked crucial moments.
"I think we were completely dominant in the first 44 minutes of the game. We had a lot of chances to score and hardly allowed the opponent to create danger. But we conceded a goal shortly before the break, and that changed the course of the game," Kane emphasized.
Kane admitted that Bayern did not perform as dominantly in the second half:
"We came out onto the field after the break, but we no longer had the same advantage. We lacked either the final pass or the decisive strike."
The English striker emphasized that the opponent was also well organized:
"Mainz played well, and that forced us to fight. When you play against such teams, they fight to the end for every point. They defend well, handle the ball correctly, and fight until the last moment. As a result, we accept this point and continue on our way."
