The experienced specialist emphasized that there is a great responsibility in the League stage:
"Our opponents are established, historical clubs of their countries. "Liverpool", "Chelsea", "Ajax", "Napoli", as well as others "Benfica", "Eintracht", "Copenhagen" and "Athletic" are strong teams that everyone knows well. We will try to prepare well for these matches. Because this tournament is a completely different level. The excitement in the Champions League is several times greater. Here, both strength, speed, and the course of the game are completely different. We understand that there is a very great responsibility. We will try to fight well and make our fans happy."
Gurban Gurbanov emphasized that they will hold 4 games in Baku and the fans deserve it:
"First of all, I would like to thank our fans once again. I thank each of them for the fans they made in the stadium during the return match of the play-off with "Ferencvaros", the support they showed, and the atmosphere they created. Our fans deserved to see the League stage of the Champions League. I am very happy for them that this season they will watch at least 4 Champions League matches live in Baku.
