Former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, owner of the club "Andorra", has been handed a six-match ban in the Segunda after his team's 0-1 loss to "Albacete" in the 38th round.
İdman.Biz reports this with reference to AS.
After the defeat, Pique, along with other team members, threatened and criticized the referee of the match, Alonso De Ena Wolf. This was also noted in the protocol of the meeting.
The Disciplinary Committee decided to punish Pique with a six-match ban and a two-month ban from attending matches. The disqualification was applied for "minor aggression towards referees." The two-month disqualification is applied due to "rude and public acts that degrade sports dignity and decorum."
The club was also fined 1,500 euros and the stadium was partially closed for two matches.
