The presidential and Board of Directors elections at the Spanish football club "Real Madrid" have been officially announced.
Idman.Biz reports that the club's Election Commission has announced that candidates can apply from May 14-23. Acceptance and announcement of candidates will take place the day after each application.
According to official information, voting will only take place if more than one candidate is registered. In this case, the Election Commission will announce the date and place of the election separately.
If Florentino Perez faces a rival, the elections are scheduled to take place on June 7.
It should be noted that Perez had previously announced that he would participate in the elections with the current Board of Directors. He explained this decision with the desire to protect the interests of the club and its members, called socios.
