– I congratulate my team, the "Sabah" family. It was a very important victory. We needed this victory. True, we could have played better. After the goals, we suffered a bit towards the end of the game. The victories won in recent times were important for us. I thank the players, they have developed a lot in recent months, they have improved. After the New Year, we will prepare for the second round of the season.
– After a long time, the name of the winter champion has changed. How did you manage to do this?
– It's only half of the season. There are games ahead. "Qarabag" is a very good team. It is a coaching team, they have caused a stir in Europe. We have to improve and grow a lot to be like them. We only focus on the next matches. Winter championship does not give a medal.
– Earlier, while speaking at one of the conferences, you said that there were important games with "Turan Tovuz" and "Neftchi". You didn't mention "Sumgayit". Was it because you thought you would win easily, or did you forget?
– Maybe there was a misunderstanding. Every game is important to me. You usually ask questions about "Qarabag". But for me, the important match is the next one.
