Chelsea striker Joao Pedro will not be sold to Barcelona. This was reported by the Daily Mail newspaper, according to Sport24.az.
Reports circulated yesterday that the Catalan club contacted the Brazilian footballer's agent and offered a transfer of 70 million euros.
According to the source, Chelsea viewed the offer with skepticism - not only do they not want to sell the striker to Spain, but they have also made Pedro one of their 'untouchable' players, and the London club categorically refuses to sell this summer. The London club wants to strengthen its squad, not weaken it.
It should be noted that Pedro has appeared in 48 matches in all tournaments this season, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists. The striker's current contract with the team runs until the summer of 2033. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the footballer's market value at 75 million euros.
