The English Football League (EFL) has announced that the "Championship" play-off final may be subject to a change in time due to a disciplinary case involving "Southampton".

The incident reportedly occurred before the first leg of the play-off semi-final. Based on the results of the two matches, "Southampton" eliminated "Middlesbrough" and advanced to the final.

Nevertheless, the EFL has stated that it is working to ensure that the "Championship" play-off final will be held at Wembley Stadium on May 23 as originally planned. However, the organization has warned fans that the outcome of the disciplinary process could lead to changes in the game schedule.
The possibility of "Southampton" being excluded from the play-offs is also being discussed in the English media. If such a decision is made, the club may lose the chance to be promoted to the Premier League. In a softer scenario, the time or location of the final could be changed.
