Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has stated that he does not want José Mourinho to return as head coach of Los Blancos.
Idman.Biz reports that several sources previously reported that the Portuguese coach was close to the appointment.
"I have no claims against Mourinho. He seems like a high-level professional to me. I don't want to see him at Real Madrid. I think other coaches would do a better job at the club of my dreams. This is my personal opinion. There's nothing else," Casillas wrote on social media page X.
Casillas played for Real Madrid under Mourinho's leadership (2010-2013). The coach currently leads Benfica.
