Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has revealed the reason he stayed at the club. Sport24.az reports that the Portuguese footballer spoke about this on the official website of the "Red Devils":
"I stayed here because I believe I can win trophies with this club. If the club hadn't told me that it was about reaching the highest peaks, starting to win trophies again and bringing the club back to its former level, I wouldn't have stayed here. If that wasn't the goal, yes, I wouldn't have stayed here. But I know that the club's goal is to return to high places. That's primarily why I came here. That's all I want to do."
It should be noted that Bruno's current contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2027. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the player's market value is 40 million euros.
