"Barcelona" will officially announce the extension of head coach Hans-Dieter Flick's contract on Monday, May 18.

According to the publication, the new contract will be valid until the summer of 2028 and will have the option to extend it for another season. The coach's current contract is valid until 2027.
"Barcelona" has prematurely won the title of Spanish champion and leads the La Liga standings with 91 points. "Real Madrid" is in second place with 77 points. There are two games left in the championship, and in these games "blaugrana" will face "Betis" (May 17) and "Valencia" (May 23).
