Azerbaijani clubs have scored their 500th goal in European cups.
İdman.biz reports that the jubilee goal occurred in the first qualifying round of the Europa League match between Sabah and Celje.
Before the match of the Baku club against the Slovenian representative, Azerbaijani teams had scored 499 goals in 470 matches held in the history of European cups. Pavol Safranko, who opened the scoring in this match, became the author of the 500th goal.
