The Azerbaijan national team consisting of football players under 19, which is in training camp in Slovenia, played its first match in the "Slovenia Nations Cup" friendly tournament.
Lent.az reports that U-19 faced the corresponding age group team of Iceland. The match held at the "Preddvor" stadium ended with a 2:1 victory for Elkhan Abdullayev's team. Ziya Shakarxanov scored in the 46th minute and Shahin Ibrahimov in the 55th minute in our team.
U-19 will play its next game within the international tournament against the Faroe Islands team on September 6.
