The Azerbaijani national football team will play its next friendly match today. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Fernando Santos, will face Latvia in Riga.
The match, which will start at 17:00 Baku time, will be refereed by Maltese Farruca Kan Trastin.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will also play a friendly match with the Hungarian team in Baku on June 10. This will be the national team's final preparatory meeting for the WC-2026. The Azerbaijani national team lost both of its previous friendly matches this year - against Haiti (0:3) and Belarus (0:2).
