"Shamakhi" hosted "Sabah" today in the 30th round of the Azerbaijan Premier League. Sport24.az reports that a press conference was held after the match by Aykhan Abbasov, the head coach of the "lions" who lost 0:3.
Abbasov said it was a difficult game:
I congratulate "Sabah" on their championship. I wish success to all our teams that will compete in European Cups. I thank our fans.
It was a difficult game. Our young players got a chance and fought well. There were episodes, but we couldn't capitalize on them. We have three games ahead, time will tell what will happen in the future."
"Shamakhi" will be the guest of "Neftchi" in the next round.
