Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has made interesting and sincere statements regarding the Premier League title race. Sport24.az reports that the London representative is one step closer to the gold medals after defeating Burnley 1-0 in the last round.
Now all hopes remain on Bournemouth for the Gunners to become champions ahead of schedule. If Manchester City fails to beat Bournemouth away in the postponed match to be held on Tuesday, Arsenal will declare their championship.
Mikel Arteta did not hide that he has great hopes for Andoni Iraola, the head coach of Bournemouth, who is his childhood friend:
"For Andoni, his players and fans, we are all Bournemouth now. Because we know very well what the result of this match means to us. What Iraola has done at the club is incredible. The team's performance deserves great respect. I don't think they need extra motivation in the match with City".
The Spanish expert admitted that he will not watch the Manchester City -
Bournemouth match, which could decide the fate of the championship, together with the team and will not be able to watch it until the end due to excitement:
"I don't know how much I will be able to watch the game. I will be in front of the TV, but I'm not sure I will be able to watch the match until the end".
