Trent Alexander-Arnold has announced that he will leave Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2024/25 season.
QOL.az reports that the player announced this in a statement on his X social media account.
"After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, the time has come to confirm that I will be leaving the club at the end of the season. This is the most difficult decision I have ever made in my life," he said.
The 26-year-old British footballer's contract with the club expires on June 30, 2025. He started playing for Liverpool as a youth player in 2004 and signed a professional contract with the club in 2016.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has played 352 games for Liverpool, scored 23 goals and made 92 assists.
Earlier, journalist David Ornstein reported that the player will sign a contract with Real Madrid this week.
