Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti is in talks about his future as the team prepares for the 2026 World Cup.
According to Idman.Biz, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) is interested in extending the Italian coach's contract and is considering a long-term partnership.
Ancelotti was appointed head coach of the Brazil national team in May, becoming the first foreign coach in the national team's history.
His contract runs until the 2026 World Cup, but the CBF leadership has already started discussions about extending the contract until 2030 to ensure stability and continuity in the national team.
Under the leadership of the 66-year-old coach, Brazil has completed the World Cup qualifying stage and qualified for the tournament. Despite mixed results in friendly matches, the federation highly appreciates Ancelotti's managerial and leadership qualities.
