PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has made ambitious statements regarding the current development of the Paris club and head coach Luis Enrique. The club's leader considers the arrival of the Spanish specialist as one of the most successful steps in his career. Sport24.az reports that Al-Khelaifi, in his statement to "CBS Sports Golazo", highlighted Enrique's professional and human qualities:
"We may have been negotiating for 15 years to bring Luis Enrique to the club. He is not only one of the best coaches in the world, but also an incredible person. He perfectly manages the team, the players, and even the difficult relationship with the French media."
Stating that the club is moving forward on a stable project, the president believes that individual awards will also come in the near future:
"This is the result of a long-term plan. We have brought together the most talented players and a strong coach. In the next 3-5 years, we may have players in our squad who will win the Ballon d'Or."
Al-Khelaifi also specifically noted the change in the atmosphere in the team and the dedication of the players:
"They are not just players running on the field, they are real fighters. We are a family, the PSG family. Luis Enrique has made a big change in the world of football, and I am proud of him."
