The on-site visit, feedback, and individual assessment process for the academies of Misli Premier League clubs for 2026, which is the first stage of the "Needs Analysis and Support Process" framework, has been completed.
Idman.Biz reports that AFFA has released information about this.
Feedback reports by AFFA representative Sarkhan Huseynov, who is a coach specialist-coordinator for the development of club academies, were presented to some of the clubs through on-site visits, while presentation and discussion sessions were organized online with other academies.
The purpose of the visits and reports was to assess the current situation of academies and football schools in various fields within the framework of the "5-Star Academy Development Model" that AFFA will implement from the next season.
Individual presentations, transparent analysis of the current situation, highlighting strengths, detailed feedback on areas needing development, and discussion of next steps were carried out with each academy. According to the needs identified as a result of the visits and the feedback received from the academy leaders, AFFA plans to present support measures to the club academies.
This process aims not only to evaluate but also to create a practical support mechanism for the development of academies. The goal is the long-term, sustainable, and professional development of the children's and youth system, which forms the basis of Azerbaijani football.
