As part of the projects implemented by AFFA in the direction of football development and the application of modern technologies, the "Eyeball" analytical platform has been launched. Sport24.az reports that the project covers both men's and women's football, and U-15, U-16, U-17, U-19 and Reserve League teams, as well as women's U-16 and Premier League teams have already been included in this system.
This step serves to expand the application of analytics and digital approaches in local football.
It is also planned to fully ensure the use of the "Eyeball" platform in Azerbaijani language. This innovation will create more convenient and effective usage opportunities for local users of the platform, and at the same time will contribute to the presentation of analytical data in a more understandable form.
In the initial phase of the "Eyeball" project, it is planned to apply the platform among clubs operating in Baku and Absheron. In the next stage, it is planned to connect regional clubs to the system as well. At the same time, starting from the next season, all clubs are expected to record and upload their home games to the platform.
Uploaded games are automatically processed by the platform, and extensive statistical indicators and analytical data are generated in a short period of time. In addition to watching the full video footage of the games, users can select specific episodes, apply filters by events, and analyze all the key moments that occur during the game separately.
In addition, the "Team of the Week" will be prepared for all age groups every week and presented on the platform. This will create additional opportunities to closely monitor the individual performances of football players and to highlight outstanding players.
At the same time, football players' performance indicators and game footage can also be watched by foreign club scouts through the "Eyeball" platform. This creates conditions for local football players to be more widely recognized at the international level and for them to have additional opportunities to play in foreign clubs.
Thus, the platform is not only an analysis tool, but also plays an important role in supporting the career development of football players.
