Following a video appeal spread on social networks by young children living in the H.Z. Taghiyev settlement of Sumgayit city some time ago, AFFA took steps to improve the conditions in the area where they play football. Sport24.az reports that the federation provided the youngsters with football equipment.
Mini-football goals have been installed for the use of residents of the settlement, and children have been provided with game uniforms, vests, footballs and other necessary sports equipment.
Farrukh Ismayilov, Head of the Mass Football Department of AFFA, who participated in the event, met with young football fans and wished them success. He also emphasized that ensuring the mass character of football and directing children towards a healthy lifestyle is always the focus of AFFA, and such projects will continue in the future.
