Azerbaijani chess player Ulviyya Fataliyeva has won the "IV Women's Chess Championship" international tournament held in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.

It was reported that European champion, winner of the World Chess Olympiad among teams Nana Dzagnidze (Georgia), world youth champion Afruza Hamdamova (Uzbekistan), winner of the World Chess Olympiad among teams Harika Dronavalli (India) and other grandmasters competed in the traditional competition.
Ulviyya Fataliyeva, who scored 6.5 points after 9 rounds in the tournament attended by 10 chess players from 8 countries, became the winner of the "IV Women's Chess Championship". Georgian chess player Nana Dzagnidze took second place, and Indian Harika Dronavalli took third place.
It should be noted that the victory in Uzbekistan is Ulviyya Fataliyeva's second success in 2026. Last month, the female chess player won the Azerbaijan championship for the first time in her career.
