Azerbaijani grandmaster Aydın Suleymanli continues to be among the leaders in the traditional "Tata Steel Challengers" chess tournament held in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands.
Idman.Biz reports that in the fifth round, Suleymanli drew with local chess player Max Warmerdam.
Thus, after five rounds, Aydın, with four points, shares 1st–3rd places with US representative Eddie Vudvort and Argentinian Faustino Oro. According to additional indicators, he is currently in second place. In the sixth round, the Azerbaijani grandmaster will face Indian chess player Vedant Panesar. It should be noted that Suleymanli is one of the few participants in the tournament who has not yet suffered a defeat.
