The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Kickboxing Championship among cadets, juniors, and youth dedicated to the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" was held in the city of Nakhchivan.
Idman.Biz reports that about 120 athletes from 7 clubs competed for a total of 16 sets of awards in the competition.
Athletes competed in appropriate age categories and weight classes based on the Olympic system. Among cadets, Mahir Jafarov (25 kg), Muhammad Talibov (28 kg), Hasan Guluzade (32 kg), Nasir Aliyev (37 kg), Orkhan Khalili (42 kg), among juniors, Ughur Mammadli (37 kg), Ulvi Aliyev (42 kg), Alamdar Najafov (45 kg), Hidayat Mammadzadeh (47 kg), Ayhan Khalili (52 kg), Amin Najafli (55 kg), Kamil Dadashov (60 kg), and among youth, Tayfur Aliyev (50 kg), Tunar Nasirli (55 kg), Sinan Kazimov (60 kg) and Ziya Mammadzadeh (65 kg) took first place.
The owners of the first three places were awarded with diplomas, medals and gifts.
