The start of the World Championship has been postponed by one day. The decision was made at the technical meeting of the tournament held on Tuesday, December 2.
According to Idman.Biz, the World Boxing Championship among men will be held in Dubai, UAE until December 13.
"The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held on December 2. The first fights were scheduled for December 3, but due to visa problems, we postponed them to December 4 due to the inability of all athletes to come to the United Arab Emirates," IBA Secretary General Chris Roberts said at the meeting before the start of the tournament.
