"Despite the absence of many leading boxers, the championship is quite interesting. We see a large number of bright young boxers. It is enough to look at the list of 1/4 finalists in the 60 kg weight category, where more than half of them are still yesterday's youth. Mahammadali Ashuraliyev, Mahammadali Gasimzade, Tagi Nasibov - each of them can seriously compete with the fairly experienced Tayfur Aliyev. There are many talented boxers in other weight categories as well, but I don't want to name them yet so that the children don't get jinxed. I am sure that in the final fights we will discover many new and interesting faces for ourselves," said Vugar Alakbarov.
