A professional MMA fight night dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held.
Idman.Biz reports that athletes from Turkey, Georgia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, along with Azerbaijan, competed in the tournament.
Our athlete Gozel Zutova (75 kg) won by defeating the representative of Uzbekistan, Khadijabonu Tursunkulova, in the first round of the first belt fight of the 5-round league. Elnar Ibrahimov (66 kg) defeated Uzbek Azizbek Abdullayev in the first round. Ali Sharifov (77 kg) defeated Azerbaijani Bahruz Fatullayev, and Iqbal Aliyev (66 kg) won over Ziya Aghayev.
Ilkin Babayev (93 kg) defeated our compatriot Farid Mammadov. Vusal Aziroglu (93 kg) won over Georgian representative Beka Chxipuri. Amin Alili (62 kg) defeated our compatriot Agshin Gadimaliyev. Omar Mutayev (77 kg) finished the fight night with a victory by defeating Omar Mammadli.
