Undefeated 39-year-old Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, the current WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion, has not ruled out the possibility that his last fight will not be against Briton Tyson Fury.
Idman.Biz reports that Usyk said he could fight German Agit Kabayel, the interim WBC heavyweight champion.
"Kabayel may be my next opponent instead of a trilogy fight with Tyson Fury, but I haven't decided yet. I understand the expectations of the fans, but I have my own life and responsibilities towards my family and team. I'm just training and accepting the possibility of fighting Agit - he's a strong and smart fighter," talkSPORT quoted Usyk as saying.
In a recent interview, Usyk stated that he plans to fight three more times before ending his career. He included the winner of the Wardley-Dubois fight, a trilogy with Tyson Fury, and Rico Verhoeven on his list of desired opponents.
