Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk could face American David Benavidez in 2027.
According to Idman.Biz, citing The Ring insider Mike Coppinger, Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority, is interested in organizing a world heavyweight title fight between the two undefeated boxers.
In his last fight, Usyk defeated Briton Daniel Dubois by knockout in the fifth round at Wembley Stadium. The Ukrainian boxer has 24 victories (15 by knockout) and no defeats.
29-year-old Benavidez is also undefeated, with 32 wins, 26 of which were by stoppage.
