The UFC press service has announced that the promotion has decided to cancel the fight between American Cameron Smotherman and Ricky Turcios, which was scheduled to take place on January 25 at "UFC 324" in Las Vegas.
"Due to health issues with Cameron Smotherman, his fight with Ricky Turcios has been cancelled," the statement said.
Cameron lost consciousness after successfully completing the official weigh-in before the fight. The promotion staff removed him from the arena and he was hospitalized.
