UFC 327, held in Miami, was the least profitable event in the promotion's modern history.
According to Idman.Biz, citing ACD MMA, the total revenue was $6,518,684, significantly less than recent major events.
For comparison, UFC 324 generated over $10.9 million, UFC 325 approximately $10.1 million, and UFC 326 over $8.3 million. Thus, UFC 327's revenue was approximately half of that of UFC 299, which featured Sean O'Malley.
Fans criticized the event on social media, stating that the card was weak and expectations were overblown.
The main event of the evening was a fight for the vacant light heavyweight title, in which Carlos Ulberg knocked out Jiri Prochazka. In the co-main event, Paulo Costa defeated Russian Azamat Murzakanov by knockout. Both fights ended in knockouts.
The next major event, UFC 328, will be held in Newark on the night of May 9-10, and in June, the organization will hold a tournament at the White House, where Ilia Topuria will face Justin Gaethje in the main event.
