The fight will start at 09:00 Baku time.
The fighters first met in March 2023. At that time, Merab Dvalishvili won by unanimous decision. Yan took a long break to recover after his third consecutive and heaviest defeat.
More than two years have passed. Dvalishvili is currently one of the main stars and dominant champions of the UFC. He has had five fights since the fight with Petr Yan and has won all of them. Yan has rebuilt his career, winning three fights in a row and earning a title rematch opportunity. This time the duel will be completely different from the previous one.
