The U-23 European Boxing Championships continue in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. On the second day of the competition, 2 more boxers from the Azerbaijani national team won.
In the 55 kg weight class, Amin Mammadov fought Friha Ismail Magraovi (Spain) in the 1/8 finals. Our boxer defeated his opponent with a score of 5:0 (30:26, 30:26, 30:26, 30:26, 30:25). He will face Gor Ayvazyan (Georgia) in the 1/4 finals.
Tagi Nasibov (60 kg) also emerged victorious from his first fight. Our representative was superior to Jakub Krzpiet (Poland) in the 1/8 finals – 4:1 (29:28, 28:29, 29:28, 30:27, 29:28). He will face Gavin Ryan (Ireland) in the next match.
