Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, has announced that Oleksandr Usyk, the undefeated WBA, WBC, IBF, and IBO heavyweight champion, 39-year-old Ukrainian, could fight in Turkey in 2027.
Idman.Biz reports that Usyk has 24 wins and no losses in his professional career.
"We are currently discussing something that we will present to Usyk in the future. We are thinking about it, and I know that Alexander does not want to talk about the future, but we are planning. I will reveal a little secret to you: we are planning to do something incredible next year near Hagia Sophia with the people of Istanbul and the Istanbul authorities," Al-Sheikh said at a press conference.
