US President Donald Trump has not ruled out a new name for the UFC White House event scheduled for June 14 in Washington.
Idman.Biz reports that Trump said he would consider naming the tournament "UFC 1776."
"That's a good idea. I'll talk to Dana White about that. Frankly, I like that idea," - "MMAJunkie" quotes Trump.
July 4, 1776, is the day the US Declaration of Independence, declaring the 13 colonies' secession from Great Britain, was adopted. Earlier, it was announced that the UFC White House event would be dedicated to the 250th anniversary of US independence.
