The 29-year-old undefeated Spanish-Georgian Ilia Topuria, the current UFC featherweight champion, spoke about his fight with American Justin Gaethje, the interim champion at 70 kg, at "UFC Freedom 250".
Idman.Biz reports that the tournament will be held on June 14.
"It doesn't matter who is in front of me. I will break my opponent's jaw in the first minute on June 14," Topuria said at a press conference.
The Spanish-Georgian athlete made his professional mixed martial arts debut in April 2015. He began competing in the North American Matador League in October 2020. Ilia's record includes 17 wins, only two of which were by decision, and no losses.
