29-year-old UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria shared his thoughts on the fighting style of interim champion Justin Gaethje.
Idman.Biz reports that their fight will be the main fight of the night on June 14 as part of the UFC tournament at the White House.
"It is very difficult for my sparring partners to repeat Justin Gaethje's style, I even feel sorry for them. He delivers blows from non-standard angles. It's strange, his style is really very different," Topuria said.
Note that the 37-year-old American fighter has 27 wins (21 of them ahead of schedule) and five losses. He began his professional career in 2011.
Spanish-Georgian Topuria made his MMA debut in April 2015. He has been competing in the UFC since October 2020. He has 17 wins and only two of these victories were won by judge's decision, and no losses.
