British UFC heavyweight champion (120 kg) Tom Aspinall has undergone surgery on both eyes.
İdman.Biz reports that Aspinall suffered an eye injury after being punched by a French athlete in a fight with Ciryl Gane in October 2025. The fight was ruled a no contest.
"Following his widely publicized eye injury, the expert team at 'Optegra' is proud to support MMA fighter and UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
We have been working closely with him over the last few months to aid his recovery. After undergoing surgery on both eyes, we are continuing our journey to restore Tom's vision to fighting fitness," the clinic shared on social media.
