UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall commented on his deal with "Matchroom", the talent agency owned by famous boxing promoter Eddie Hearn.
According to Idman.Biz, Aspinall remains a UFC fighter, but will now receive support in negotiations with the league and other organizations.
"We athletes have a very short window of opportunity to earn big money. Given what's happened in my career, the recent injuries and everything, I want to earn as much as possible. I want to provide for my family for generations to come, and that's exactly what I'm going to do," MMA Fighting quotes Aspinall.
The fighter also explained how the partnership idea came about. He said he had observed Hearn and his brother Frank working from afar and admired their work ethic. According to Aspinall, they immediately clicked when they met in person.
